At Cellular and More, we are committed to giving back to our communities. With locations across Michigan, we have the opportunity to provide assistance in many diverse ways. Our team is continually looking for new outreach opportunities and finds great joy in giving back to our local community.
Every year, Cellular and More participates in Adopt a Family. Each store adopts a family within their local community. These families are provided warm clothing, toys, household items, and a Christmas dinner through funds raised in our stores. Over the last nine years, we have raised over $90,000 and provided gifts for 120 families.
John Morales has been an employee of Cellular and More for over three years. In August of 2019, John was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which has since grown to stage 4. With over $16K in medical bills stacked up and more chemo ahead, Cellular & More ran a campaign, collecting in-store donations from employees and customers to help offset his expenses. Since the campaign started in March 2020, we have raised over $3000.
With the help of Cellular and More employee, Peggy Calderone, we have partnered with the Jackson YMCA for their annual Trunk or Treat. We have donated hundreds of gloves, hats, scarves, and blankets to be passed out to cold trick-or-treaters. Employees volunteered to pass out warm clothing as well as free meal passes, candy, and granola bars.
Throughout our history, we have also contributed to the John George Home, hurricane relief, Breast Cancer awareness, Juvenile Research Foundation, and many other noteworthy organizations. If you have any outreach suggestions or want to find out how you can help, contact us!
